En volontariat franco-allemand dans le Calvados, Lara présente son pays et sa culture au collège Ernest Hemingway à Port-en-Bessin

Lara presents Germany and its culture at Ernest Hemingway school in Port-en-Bessin

Lundi 6 février 2017, les deux classes de 4e du collège Ernest Hemingway à Port-en-Bessin (Calvados) ont rencontré Lara Hetzer, une jeune allemande qui effectue un volontariat franco-allemand au Conseil départemental du Calvados. Les deux professeurs de langue, Mme Coëffé (anglais) et Mme Gutiérrez (espagnol) l’ont invitée dans le cadre d’un EPI sur la mobilité en Europe.
On Monday, February 6th 2017, both 3rd year (« quatrième ») classes of Ernest Hemingway’s school in Port-en-Bessin (Calvados) met Lara Hetzer, a young German volunteer at the Calvados Council. Both languages teachers Mrs Coëffé (English) and Mrs Gutiérrez (Spanish) invited her as part of an interdisciplinary class about mobility in Europe.

Lara s’est d’abord présentée : elle vient de Würzburg (ville jumelée avec Caen) en Basse-Franconie en Allemagne. A 18 ans, après son bac (Abitur), elle a choisi de venir en France pour un an pour améliorer son français et avoir une expérience professionnelle. Elle effectue donc un volontariat culturel qui l’amène à intervenir dans les établissements scolaires et les associations pour présenter la culture allemande. Depuis le début de l’année scolaire, elle a déjà animé beaucoup d’ateliers ou est intervenue dans les clubs Europe.
First, Lara introduced herself: she comes from Würzburg (Caen’s twin town) in Lower Franconia in Germany. At the age of 18, after her « Abitur » (final exam of high school), she chose to spend one year in France to ameliorate her French and to gain professional experience. She is doing a cultural volunteering which brings her to come in schools and associations to present German culture. Since the beginning of the school year, she has already animated a lot of workshops and animations in Europe clubs.

En faisant participer les élèves, Lara a présenté sa région et des recettes allemandes.

A la fin des séquences, plusieurs élèves rêvaient de partir eux-aussi à l’étranger quand ils seraient plus grands.
At the end of the animation, several pupils were dreaming to go abroad themselves when they grow up.
